Lettuce
Lettuce is a cool-weather crop that thrives in spring and fall. It prefers moderate temperatures, ideally between 60 and 70 degrees Fahrenheit (15 to 21 degrees Celsius). Lettuce doesn't like extreme heat and will bolt (flower prematurely) if it gets too hot. If you're planting lettuce in warm weather, choose a variety that tolerates heat better.
