Mwezi-Moja; as the names (one month in swahili) indicates the bean matures very quickly.   Mwezi-Moja is popular for fresh maize Githeri (cooked mixture of maize and beans) and Madondo (beans stew) as it takes a shorter time to cook in comparison to other beans.

Mwezi Moja is a fast-maturing bean variety that matures in about 90 days. Mwezi Moja is a good source of protein and fiber, and it can be cooked and eaten in a variety of ways.
