Green Grams
Ndengu seeds, also known as green grams , are a drought-tolerant legume widely cultivated in Kenya, especially in drier areas . They mature in as little as 55 days , and are a valuable source of protein for smallholder farmers. Kenyans often cook them whole or ground into flour for use in various dishes.
